Kevin Reynolds – Founder

Prior to forming Advertising Perspectives, Kevin held the position of  SVP, Director of Information Technology at the PHD division of Omnicom Media Group.

Kevin began his career in technology working as a recording engineer at The Hit Factory, Chung King House of Metal, and Electric Lady Studios. Run DMC, Paula Abdul, and LL Cool J are just a few of the artists listed in his discography. In 1997, fascinated with the Internet, Kevin accepted a position as IT Manager with Creative Media (CMI). At CMI, Kevin helped position the firm for its subsequent acquisition by Omnicom. In 2002, CMI merged with BBDO’s Pentacom division and independent media agency Advanswers to become the US division of PHD. Steve Grubbs, the founding CEO of PHD US, asked Kevin to take over as IT Director, where he established the IT group, architected the technology infrastructure, managed operations, and directed application development for the top 10 media firm.

While at PHD, Kevin championed the development of cutting edge media applications using database-driven, web services enabled technology. He also implemented in-house blogs, wikis and social networking applications. As a member of the 4A’s Media Technology committee, Kevin helped to focus industry attention on the need for modernizing media research, planning, and buy stewardship applications.

Kevin attended Belmont University. He resides in Port Washington, NY, and has a daughter, Madison, who learned how to Google when she was 3.
